2. Transfer your Insurance:
- Hospitalization
- Automobile
- Household goods & personal possessions (to ensure proper coverage enroute, as well as in your new home)
3. Transfer Bank Accounts:
- Have your bank recommend an affiliate in Columbia
- Arrange for sufficient cash or travelers checks to cover the cost of moving services and expenses (cash or certified check is usually required by the transfer company)
- Make arrangements for checking, savings, and safety deposit box
4. Disconnect and obtain any deposits or letters of credits:

10. Check with your attorney about will revisions if moving out of state, or inquire of a Columbia attorney whether any revisions are needed to comply with South
Carolina law.
11.Have automobiles serviced for the trip. Service power mowers, boats, etc., and be sure to drain all gas/oil to prevent fire in the moving van.
12. Pick up personal items being processed:

- Off-season stored clothing
